C-DAC has also made major breakthrough in language technology, by its Graphic based Script Technology ( GIST) which has enabled use of computers in many Indian Languages..

To proliferate the use of computers amongst masses, C-DAC through GIST-PACE (Programme for Advancing Computer Education) has been spearheading mission of computer literacy through approx. 250 Authorized Training Centers (ATC) in many states of  India. C-DAC PACE has been coordinating and monitoring the Authorized Training Centers through the Authorized Regional Coordinator (ARC) of the respective states.
